Our fire-resistant adhesives are designed to meet the needs of the shipbuilding industry and have been tested in accordance with the fire safety requirements directive for the shipbuilding industry. The fire-resistant adhesives meet the characteristics of materials that spread flames poorly, making them excellent products for other applications requiring IMO classification as well.
Fire-Resistant Mastic and Insulation Adhesive for Bonding Various Materials
Our fire-resistant products are suitable for bonding various types of materials, including:
- Aluminium
- Mineral and fibreboard
- Glass-fibre fabric
- Phenolic foam
- Styrofoam
- Concrete
- Textiles
Applications include joints and gaps in various building boards as well as penetrations and fixings. These easy-to-work-with and highly adhesive products are also paintable, allowing adhesive joints to be concealed in visible areas.
Our Fire-Resistant Adhesives
1027 – Fire-Resistant Mastic – Water-based, solvent-free sealing mastic. Tested in accordance with the fire safety requirements directive for the shipbuilding industry and meets the characteristics of materials that spread flames poorly.

Neofix 6065 R Contact Adhesive – Toluene-free, nearly n-hexane-free, solvent-type special contact adhesive for marine industry use. IMO-certified adhesive. Tested in accordance with the fire safety requirements directive for the shipbuilding industry and meets the characteristics of materials that spread flames poorly.
6055 Wallpaper Adhesive – Meets the requirements imposed in the IMO 2010 FTP Code, Annex 1 Part 2 and Part 5 (IMO Resolution MSC.307(88) Annex 1 Part 2 and Part 5) on materials with low flame-spread characteristics and that do not produce excessive quantities of smoke and toxic products or give rise to toxic hazards at elevated temperatures, as well as the provisions of the Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU, which apply to surface materials with low flame-spread characteristics.
